Spigs & Mitch perform at Firefly Brewing Company in Bristol, CT - February 2018
In addition to JSB, Guitarist John Spignesi & Keyboardist Chris Mitchell can be found in various breweries and small bars across New England performing as their duo, “Spigs & Mitch.” The two perform originals, covers, and everything in between. You’ll be as surprised as they are in regards to what they’re able to pull off!

Spigs & Friends perform at Brick & Basil in Norwich, CT - June 2019. This show was dubbed as “John Plays Jerry,” with the band performing two sets. The first set was dedicated to The Jerry Garcia Band, & the second to The Grateful Dead.
Spigs can also be found performing with various musicians around the state of Connecticut. The goal is simple, to build a band! These shows are sporadic, but they’re always fun and entertaining. Sometimes these shows have themes attached to them as well, so keep on the lookout!

John has a long history of collaboration with drummer Chris Andrews of bluegrasstifarian band, “Desert Rain.” In addition to sitting in with Rain on occasion, Chris & Spigs formed a Max Creek tribute band in 2018, “Something is Forming.”
To extend, their musical friendship, the two have dubbed any collaboration as “Chris & Spigs’ Rock & Roll Circus.” This gives them complete freedom to play to their heart’s content with some extremely talented musicians. A circus is nothing without its ring leaders, right?

John “Spigs” Spignesi can also be found performing sporadic solo acoustic shows in various locations. Armed with his looper pedal, Spigs layers effects to create unique sounds. The result is not one to miss.
